Job Summary:
We are seeking a Kitchen Manager to oversee culinary operations in our establishment. The Kitchen Manager will be responsible for managing kitchen staff, ensuring food quality, and maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate food preparation and cooking activities.
2. Supervise kitchen staff and provide training and guidance as needed.
3. Ensure all food safety standards and regulations are followed.
4. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
5. Manage kitchen budget and control costs.
6. Schedule kitchen staff to ensure adequate coverage.
7. Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and specials.
8. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
9. Handle any kitchen-related issues or conflicts as they arise.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role.
2. Knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques.
3. Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations.
4. Strong leadership and communication skills.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
6. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
7. Certification from a culinary school or equivalent is a plus.
